      Hi Lauren
Thanks for your question! To be honest I can’t remember exactly. I do know though that as a kid, I was really interested into Greek and Roman Mythology. Then I realised that stars and planets were often named after Greek gods and heroes, and THAT sparked my interest in science. I remember getting a book about the Universe when I was around 8-9, I loved it. I must have read it a billion times… I wanted to discover a new planet and name it after an obscure and forgotten hero!

Hi Lauren. My interest in science started when I was a young, maybe around 7 years old. I wasn’t really interested in reading story books so my parents got me science books and encyclopaedias instead. I used to read these and think up experiments I could do. Then for Xmas I got a science kit that allowed me to do experiments at home. I think it all started from there…
