      Hi Han22511.

When I was younger I went on a family holiday to Tenerife and we did a trip to a volcano there called Teide. I was fascinated by it and all of the surroundings. From then on I was always interested in volcanoes, and I was already very interested in the natural world and how it works cause I spent most of my spare time outside.

These two things inspired me to study geoscience (the science of the earth) at university. Then while at university I learnt more and more about volcanoes and that’s why I’m still studying them now :). They’re cool (and they explode!).
