      Hello!
      The shortest living cells are some of the white blood cells, which are the like the sentry system in the blood, looking out for disease and helping the body fight infection. Some of these will only last a few hours, certainly less than a day. Some of the cells lining the surface of the gut don’t last very long either whereas some brain cells are thought to last your whole life.
