      Hi carrotcake116,
When human baby is being formed, the eye color called “melanin” is distributed in each eye equally. But in this condition, it is not.
It is very rare condition called “heterochromia”, and has different types. For example, if eyes are completely distinct from one an other, like one green and other blue, then its called “complete heterochromia”. In other type, there is a slight variation in the shades of eye colors. Each type has different reasons. There could be many reasons for this. Most accepted medical reason is that some people have different colored eyes because it is “inherited”, means its coming from your parents or grandparents.
It is not usually linked to any underlying disease.
