Question: what happens after you die

As I’ m sure you realise people have lots of different views on this. I would love to believe that we get lots of chances at life so we could reappear as something else and also that when people you love die they are still there for you in some way. However the scientist in me struggles with this so at the moment I am inclined to think when your time is up, that’s it. ( or as my little boy who is next to me has just said, you just rot away into the ground!)…as I said, lots of different views out there!
