• Question: please could you tell me what chemical reaction takes place when a volcano erupts?

      Hi ecosystem321!

      When a volcano erupts it is dominated by physical reactions, not chemical ones. You can read an answer about this here: /telluriumn13-zone/2013/11/11/why-do-volcanos-erupt/

      Chemical reactions do happen in volcanoes though. For example in the magma chamber where different types of magma can mix together and form new magmas.
