• Question: where does the sky start?

      Well… I tend to consider that the sky starts above my head, so not very high I’m afraid!…

      The thing is how do we know that’s where the sky starts….or that’s where it stops? Hmm…..

      That’s simple, it starts immediately where the ground ends. Generally, it starts, where the “horizon” is.
      But in fact “sky” is just the mixture of some gases, some dust, some small particles hanging around in “air”. You are in sky, you can not leave it, until you enter into the space.
      From the space, there is no “start” and no “end”. Its amazing, isn’t it?

      Hi han22511! Another really interesting question. I agree with Saima, the sky starts where the ground ends, as the sky is just the part of the atmosphere and space that we can see from Earth.
